By using DatesTracker, you agree to these rules. These terms are a legal contract between you and DatesTracker. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

Account Ownership

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. You must keep your password safe. If you think someone else has accessed your account, tell us immediately.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our service to harass others, upload illegal content, or try to damage our servers. We can suspend or delete your account if we find you are breaking these rules or bothering the community.

Payments and Pro Plans

Some features require a paid subscription (Pro or Premium). All payments are handled securely. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or app store settings. We do not offer partial refunds for the remaining time of a billing month.

2. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. This policy explains exactly what data we handle and why.

Information We Collect

• Account Details: Your name, email, and phone number when you sign up.
• Legacy Data: Names, birth dates, and anniversaries of people you add to your lists.
• AI Notes: The descriptions you write about your loved ones so the AI can give you gift and event ideas.
• Log Data: Your IP address, device type, and browser info to keep the app secure.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to run the service, send you notifications, and improve our AI suggestions. We do not sell your personal data, your notes, or your contacts to any outside companies or advertisers.

Third Parties

We only share data with companies that help us run the app (like Google for login or Firebase for database). These companies are not allowed to use your data for anything else.

3. Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files saved on your device. We use them to make the website work and remember who you are.

• Necessary Cookies: These keep you logged in and make sure the site is secure.
• Preference Cookies: These remember your timezone and which view you prefer in the dashboard.
• Analytics: These tell us which parts of the app are most popular so we can make them better.

You can turn off cookies in your browser, but the app may not work correctly if you do.

4. AI & Suggestions

DatesTracker uses Artificial Intelligence to provide "Personality Maps" and gift ideas.

Accuracy Disclaimer

The AI gives suggestions based on the notes you provide. These are only ideas and not professional psychological advice. We are not responsible if a gift suggestion is not liked or if the AI misinterprets a personality trait. Always use your own judgment.

5. Family Hub Sharing

The Family Hub lets you invite others to see shared events.

• Shared vs. Private: Only events you mark as "Shared" will be seen by family members. Everything else stays private to you.
• Your Responsibility: You are responsible for the people you invite. Do not share sensitive information if you don't want others to see it.
• Leaving a Hub: You can leave a family hub or remove members at any time. When you leave, your private data remains yours.

6. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. Under GDPR and global privacy laws, you have the "Right to be Forgotten."

If you want to delete your data, you can use the "Terminate Identity" button in your Account Settings. Once you confirm, we will permanently delete your account, your events, and all AI notes from our main database within 24 hours. This action cannot be undone.
